We are a global leader in the hearing aid industry. We help millions of people regain and enjoy the miracle of hearing by designing and manufacturing innovative hearing devices and delivering superior patient care through cutting-edge digital solutions.Based out of our R&D department, you will be part of the newly formed Digital Platform Engineering (DPE) team, consisting of skilled Cloud architects, Platform-, DevOps- & Site Reliability engineers. As one of our experienced Digital Platform Architect, you will be joining an international Scrum team with dedicated and skilled professionals to help “…build a secure, scalable, observable & automated platform that empowers WSA to build, deploy & operate SW efficiently”.What you will do

Architect and implement scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructures, ensuring they align with business goals and technology standards.
Develop and integrate cloud solutions, addressing specific organizational needs and enhancing system performance.
Work closely with various teams to provide expert advice and solutions for cloud-related initiatives, ensuring optimal deployment and integration.
Continuously monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with the latest security standards.
Provide technical guidance and support to software development and IT operations teams in implementing cloud-based solutions.
Work with security teams to ensure that cloud infrastructures are robust against threats and compliant with industry standards.

What you bring

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.
5-7 years' experience in Azure Cloud Architecture or similar field (AWS, GCP).
Experience in designing and managing large-scale cloud environments.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Provide technical guidance and support to software development and IT operations teams in implementing cloud-based solutions.
Work with security teams to ensure that cloud infrastructures are robust against threats and compliant with industry standards.
Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect).

Technical competencies

Deep knowledge of Azure and other major cloud providers (GCP, AWS etc.)
Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments.
Strong experience in containerization Docker/OCI-Images and Container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes/OpenShift/AKS/EKS/GKS, Operators as ArgoCD) is a must.
Experience in Azure infrastructure and development, Declarative Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform/Open Tofu/Bicep).
Designing scalable, resilient, secure, and cost-efficient solution architecture
Proficient in modern DevOps and deployment automation practices. e.g. Azure DevOps - including build and release pipelines.
Experience in Modern architectures (e.g., Microservices, distributed systems, clean architecture) with Security & Reliability minded.
