Amazon is seeking Operation Manager for its Fulfilment Center team. In this role you will working closely with sort centers (SCs), last mile (LMs), logistic partners and other stakeholders for smooth management of FC operations of BLX1. The L4 leader will be the POC to manage dedicate department of BLX1, and handle all escalations and metrics related to same. The person will also drive deployment of solutions for productivity and cost optimization of BLX1 along with other tech deployments to streamline FC operations. In BAU, he/she will be rostered in shifts for keeping a tab on operations & work on improvement projects. Key job responsibilities Essential Functions - FC day to day operations management - Space, productivity and cost optimization for FC operations - Development of TL, BB PA and GB PA - People and stakeholder management - Focus of safe and high quality operations - Prepare bridge for WBR - Weekly manpower planning - Weekly Truck planning - Cap validation per lane and weekly capacity management - Reduce FC damage and losses - Drive AMXL FC related programs A day in the life Essential Functions - FC day to day operations management - Development of TL, BB PA and GB PA - People management - Focus of safe and high quality operations About the team BLX1 is the only own FC in AMXL network. Thus holding the key responsibility to drive creative programs to continue to optimize FC operations, which can subsequently be implemented in 3P network. In BLX1, there is a very strong focus on safe operations with high quality deliverable.
