- Design the architecture of network monitoring & observability solutions in the overall Service Assurance systems landscape.
- Define standards and best practices for monitoring and observability.
- Build the architecture to automate the collection, analysis, and visualization of metrics and logs in conjunction with other systems and processes to support the Monitoring & .
- Collaborate with business teams to gather business requirements in term of (auto-)discovery, collect, alerting, correlation, AIOps, dashboard and reporting solutions.
- Collaborate with development teams and SI partner to lead the design and implementation of (auto-)discovery, collect, alerting, correlation, AIOps, dashboard and reporting solutions.
- Integrate and optimize the use of Blueplanet UAA and Splunk for cross domain data correlation, alerting, predictive features, and dashboarding.
- Contribute to incident management strategies and proactive resolution.
- Ensure compliance of solutions with security and regulatory standards.
- Be a SPOC for all architecture related aspects, including but not limited to security, hosting strategy, integration, etc.
- Must have knowledge of data networks and how they work, including but not limited to MPLS, Internet, SDWAN, etc. technologies.
- Must have worked with SAFe/ Agile teams and should have thorough experience of the methodologies & terminology used thereby.
- Analyze ART (Agile Release Train) performance and identify areas for improvement to enhance service delivery.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.
- Share & advocate within Digital Technology, Orange Business and the wider Orange Group.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Telecommunications, or related field.
- Significant experience (at least 5 years) in monitoring, observability, and SRE architecture.
- Proficiency with Splunk and BluePlanet UAA (or other industry standard monitoring and observability tools).
- Strong knowledge of cloud environments (Azure (preferred), GCP, AWS), microservices architectures, and containerization technologies (Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of data collection and monitoring protocols.
- Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
- Strong analytical, synthesis, and communication skills.
- Innovative mindset and team-oriented approach.
- Proficient practice of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
- Data collection and monitoring protocols (SNMP, NetFlow / sFlow, Syslog, REST API, Messaging bus (e.g. kafka), OpenTelemetry, etc.).
- Incident management tools such as ServiceNow is a plus.
- Network services architecture (SDWAN, Cloud Connectivity, MPLS, etc.)
