Opening for Accounts Executive- Malad, Mumbai, MaharashtraJob SummaryWe are seeking a meticulous and proactive Accounts Executive to join our finance team. The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial activities, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, and supporting accounting functions across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, proficiency in accounting software, and excellent attention to detail.JD -Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain Financial Records: Ensure proper and up-to-date maintenance of financial records, including ledgers, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage and process accounts payable and receivable transactions. Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collection of dues.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile daily, monthly, and yearly bank transactions and statements to ensure accuracy.
  • GST & Tax Compliance: Assist with the preparation and filing of Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns, ensuring compliance with Indian tax regulations. Prepare TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) returns and ensure timely payments.
  • Monthly/Quarterly Reporting: Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for management, highlighting key financial metrics and variances.
  • Invoice Generation: Prepare and send invoices to clients in a timely manner and ensure proper documentation.
  • Expense Management: Track and monitor company expenses and prepare reports for management review.
  • Audit Support: Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and assisting in resolving discrepancies.
  • Inventory Management (if applicable): Manage inventory accounts and ensure that they align with actual stock levels.
  • Bank Liaison: Handle communication with banks regarding payments, fund transfers, and other banking activities.
Qualification expected:
  • · Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Finance. A professional qualification such as CA Inter, CMA, or MBA in Finance is an advantage.
  • · Experience: 2+ years of experience in an accounts or finance role.
  • · Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks,) and Microsoft Excel.
  • · Knowledge of Taxation: Sound understanding of GST, TDS, and other Indian tax laws and regulations.
  • · Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accuracy and high-quality financial records
  • .· Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • · Organizational Skills: Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
