Role Title: Store Keeper / Inventory ControllerIndustry: Engineering / ManufacturingExperience: 5–10 YearsJob Summary:We are seeking a disciplined and detail-oriented Store Keeper to oversee our engineeringstores. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of materials, from receipt andinspection to controlled issuance. A critical component of this role is the management ofwelding consumables and ensuring 100% traceability of high-value engineering components.Requirements

Education: Diploma in Engineering or Graduate degree (Science/Commerce).

Experience: Minimum 5 years in a dedicated engineering or manufacturing store

environment.

Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with engineering hardware, tools, and industrial

consumables.

Attributes: Strong sense of integrity, methodical approach to record-keeping, and

ability to work under production deadlines.Benefits

Material Lifecycle: Manage receipt, unloading, and inspection of raw materials and

components against Purchase Orders and Invoices.

Inventory Accuracy: Conduct regular cycle counts and annual wall-to-wall audits to

ensure physical stock matches system records.

Traceability: Maintain rigorous documentation for material heat numbers and batch

codes to ensure full traceability throughout the production process.

Consumable Control: Oversee the specialized storage of welding electrodes,

including strict adherence to baking, holding, and exposure time protocols tomaintain material integrity.

Documentation: Maintain inward/outward registers, Gate Passes, and Material Issue

Notes (MIN). Ensure all Material Test Certificates (MTC) are filed and accessible.

Space Optimization: Organize the store layout using 5S principles to ensure safety

and ease of material retrieval.
