Job Description:The International Potato Center (CIP) is a global, non-profit research organization that works to improve food security, nutrition, and incomes in developing countries through research and innovation in root and tuber crops—primarily potatoes and sweet potatoes.CIP’s focus areas encompass a range of strategic priorities aimed at improving agricultural systems and livelihoods. Support potato tissue culture plantlet production in the tissue culture laboratory
Prepare media and manage routine laboratory activities
Supervise Apical Rooted Cutting (ARC) production for potato seed multiplication
Coordinate and support all activities related to potato seed production
Education:· Graduation/Diploma in Agriculture/Horticulture or Related fieldsExperience: · 1-2 years of Experience in working at Tissue culture lab and Nursery management in Potato or other cropsBenefitsThe initial contractual appointment for this role will be till July 2026. There is a high possibility of contract renewal based on project requirements and individual performance.
