THE ROLEWe are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer with strong expertise in Mobile and internet banking applications. The role involves designing, developing, and executing test strategies for Digital banking ensuring high-quality delivery The candidate should have hands-on experience in functional, integration, regression, and automation testing. Knowledge of performance and security testing techniques will be an added advantage.
OPPORTUNITIES
- Participate in end-of-end testing of Digital modules.
- Design and execute test cases based on business and functional requirements.
- Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing, including support for SIT and UAT phases.
- Contribute to test automation efforts using tools like Selenium, Tosca, and test complete.
- Collaborate with development, product owners , and QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Assist in test data creation, environment setup, and defect reporting/tracking using tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, or HP ALM.
- Write and maintain SQL queries for backend validation on Oracle/SQL databases.
- Ensure adherence to QA processes, standards, and documentation practices.
- Prepare testing status reports and participate in defect triage meetings.
- Work closely with senior testers to gain domain and technical expertise in Temenos and banking applications.
- 2-6 years of overall QA/testing experience in the banking or financial services domain.
- Hands-on testing experience with digital banking applications
- Exposure to Automation Testing using tools like Selenium, Tosca, or relevant frameworks.
- Good understanding of banking workflows, including payments flows
- Working knowledge of test management tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, or HP ALM.
- Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for test validations.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
