Job description A.On-farm work Reproductive soundness examination of cattle. Knowledge of using Ultrasonography. Monitoring the Estrus cycle of cows. Breeding by (Artificial Insemination) and Embryo Transfer. Follow donor stimulation and recipient synchronization protocols. Rectal palpation for breeding, pregnancy diagnosis, ovarian examination by hand, and USG. Provide assistance and necessary intervention to ensure delivery of live calves. Care of newborn and young calves (including vaccination, deworming, dehorning, and treatment of sick). All record keeping for feed, fodder, Milk, Estrus cycles, AI Records and ET Records, etc. Maintaining Inventory of OPU and ET Consumables. B. Fieldwork Reproductive soundness examination of cattle. Examination of records for a health check for selecting donor/recipient animals from the field. Perform disease diagnostic tests for screening animals against infectious diseases. Be willing to travel and do overnight stays for fieldwork.
