Experience Level: 4+ to 8 YearsJob SummaryThe ServiceNow Test Engineer will be responsible for validating workflows and changes developed within the ServiceNow platform, particularly in the area of Identity and Access Management (IAM). The role ensures that all deliverables are thoroughly tested, meet quality standards, and are delivered on schedule. The engineer will collaborate with Business Analysts, developers, and project stakeholders, using Agile practices to translate requirements into effective test cases and ensure successful project delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain test plans covering test scope, approach, and execution strategy.Translate requirements into detailed test cases, including Automated Test Framework (ATF) script creation.Conduct functional, non-functional, regression, and exploratory testing.Execute test cases, log issues, and ensure resolution in collaboration with the development team.Prepare test reports and maintain test documentation as required.Estimate effort and resource requirements for testing activities.Support Agile ceremonies, including Show & Tell sessions, and collaborate closely with developers.Ensure compliance with IDAM and HSBC standards in all deliverables.Provide consultancy support to other projects when required.Identify risks, issues, and escalate to the Project Manager as necessary.Contribute to continuous improvement within the IAM development team.Required QualificationsCertified Associate in Software Testing (CAAT) or equivalent.3+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2+ years in ServiceNow request workflows related to Identity and Access Management.Strong understanding of IAM concepts: personal vs. service accounts, privileged vs. non-privileged access, human vs. system-to-system identities.Proficiency in ServiceNow workflows, APIs, and ATF integration.Hands-on experience with Agile Scrum methodology.Strong Core Java development background.Demonstrated ability to document test cases for ServiceNow workflows.Excellent verbal, written, and facilitation skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Preferred Qualifications2+ years of hands-on experience testing ServiceNow applications.Agile certification.ServiceNow certification.Experience with JIRA for Agile project management.Familiarity with ATF tool for automation and manual test scripting.SkillsSoftware Testing (Functional, Non-Functional, Regression, Exploratory)ServiceNow Workflows & ATFIdentity and Access Management (IAM)Core Java DevelopmentAgile Scrum PracticesTest Planning & DocumentationDefect Management & ReportingCommunication & CollaborationSkills:Software Testing (Functional, Non-Functional, Regression, Exploratory)ServiceNow Workflows & ATFIdentity and Access Management (IAM)About Company:UST is a global digital transformation solutions provider.
