Can you bridge the gap between complex building codes and life-saving engineering? The Technical Engineer – ECC (Fire Protection) provides engineering support to specifiers, designers, contractors, and field engineers by delivering accurate, reliable, and code-compliant fire protection designs. The role focuses on preparing Engineering Judgements and system recommendations using Hilti solutions for firestop and fire protection applications.
The engineer will support the Market Organization (MO) through email & other SaaS platform with consultation on documentation, and coordination with global and regional experts for complex technical cases.What You'll do

Design Hilti Fire Protection solutions based on requests received from internal teams and customers.
Prepare engineering proposals for passive fire protection and firestop applications.
Lead technical discussions with customers to understand requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
Support internal teams with clarifications, design rationales, and alternatives for project-specific fire protection needs.
Present technical concepts clearly to multiple stakeholders, including MO teams, consultants, and contractors.
Coordinate with global and regional Hilti Fire Protection experts for complex or non-standard design requests.
Engage with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and ensure solution feasibility.
Maintain accurate Data Management System: Customer/Market Reach interactions, Design requests, Project-specific design records.
Ensure all designs and documents follow company processes, quality standards, and traceability requirements.

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Mechanical/ Electrical/ Fire Engineering or related technical discipline.
Experience working in MEP design offices or construction environments (preferred in fire protection domain).
Knowledge of construction industry practices (preferred Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing domain) and fire protection design processes.
Proficient in AutoCAD/ Autodesk BIM: Should be able to read and understand project drawings/models and analyze services layouts.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven experience collaborating across diverse stakeholders in a dynamic commercial setting.
Analytical, detail-oriented, and committed to high-quality output.
