- Electrical Operations Management: Lead and manage the electrical department's day-to-day operations to ensure optimum performance, uptime, and reliability of electrical equipment and systems.
- Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement electrical engineering strategies in line with Adani's business goals, focusing on cost-efficiency, sustainability, and innovation.
- Project Management: Oversee electrical engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth project execution.
- Asset Management: Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all electrical assets to maximize lifespan and minimize downtime. Implement condition monitoring systems and diagnostics.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all electrical operations comply with statutory regulations, safety standards, and company policies. Champion a safety-first culture by conducting regular training and audits.
- Team Leadership and Development: Mentor, coach, and lead a team of electrical engineers and technicians to build a high-performing department aligned with Adani's values of integrity, excellence, and innovation.
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Prepare and manage the electrical department budget. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality and safety.
- Technology and Innovation: Stay abreast of latest electrical engineering technologies and industry trends. Drive adoption of innovative solutions like smart grid technologies, automation, and energy efficiency initiatives.
- Stakeholder Management: Liaise with internal stakeholders, regulatory authorities, vendors, and contractors to ensure seamless operations and project success.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of electrical systems, maintenance activities, and project progress. Prepare detailed reports for senior management and regulatory compliance.
- Risk Management: Identify potential electrical risks and implement mitigation measures to safeguard personnel, equipment, and operations.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives for process optimization, quality enhancement, and operational efficiency through Lean, Six Sigma, or other relevant methodologies.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university. A Master's Degree or MBA is preferred.
