Job Description :Job Title: PTC LeadBusiness Unit: PTC KumbalgoduReports To: General Manager R & DContext/Scope:In our PTC, we are dedicated to performing 30 to 40 packaging material validations each month. These validations serve as a cornerstone for supporting our organization's daily operational needs and fostering innovation and renovation projects. The PTC output is of paramount importance and it is imperative that our team comprises highly skilled and expert resources.Whether an individual is a fresher or an experienced professional, a minimum commitment of one year is necessary to acquire the requisite knowledge and skills to effectively contribute to the organization and comprehend the intricate functions of the PTC. This duration allows individuals to become well-versed in the complexities of our operations and align their expertise with our organizational goals.Our mission within the LAB is to ensure that every packaging material validation is executed with precision, meeting the highest industry standards and regulatory requirements. We aim to continually enhance our processes, maintain exceptional quality, and foster innovation, ultimately contributing significantly to our organization's growth and success.Through our unwavering dedication and expertise, we play a pivotal role in supporting the organization's daily functions and spearheading pioneering initiatives in packaging material development.Purpose of PositionThe purpose of this position is to take full ownership of the validation process and methodology within the PTC (Packaging Technology Centre). This encompasses managing and overseeing the validation of packaging materials, operating LAB equipment, maintaining quality standards, documenting activities, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.Decision Expected - Yes ,Recommendations Expected - In instances involving the validation results and observations made during validations.Financial Accountability (Budget/Revenue)As a critical member of the technical innovation organization, will be supporting our innovation (+ renovation) ambition of delivering 50% incremental NSV by F25Market / Function ComplexityNeeds to coordinate with cross-functional teams:
  • Within Supply Function - Manufacturing, Sourcing, Project team, HO & OQC & Units
  • Outside Supply Function- Marketing, Sales, Planning & Finance

  • Design and develop the process and modality for all the identified test procedures and equipment.
  • Own the overall process of operation in Packaging laboratory and build it as a differentiator with respect to the competitors.
  • Lead the validation activities alongside team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Close collaboration is required with the HO team, sourcing department, unit team, EHS team, and Commercial team for day-to-day functions and to address any challenges.
  • Furthermore, it is imperative to maintain close coordination with the contract workers to ensure error-free material preparation before validation and proper material handling after validation.
