Reporting to the NOC Manager and Shift manager, the NOC engineer role is a demanding but rewarding role that requires a broad range of skills. We’re seeking a self-motivated candidate with the ability to continually improve and learn.What You'll DoRoles and Responsibilities:24x7 proactive monitoring and support of the live and staging infrastructureInvestigate and react to any live issues that occur.Prepare and execute periodic releases both infrastructure and software.Act as an escalation point for issues flagged through customer channels.Partake in the design and improvement of processes and activities related to the role.Handle service requests, incident problems and change requests in line with ITIL v4 best practice.Members of our NOC team are great team players; they are passionate about technology and their jobs with a proactive and flexible attitude and an ability to tackle day to day tasks and projects with an attitude that enables them to constantly take onboard new skills.
Sound fault-finding skills and an ability to react to problematic situations in a focused manner are essential in this role. It is essential that the person applying for this position is comfortable with shift work – The NOC offers 24x7 coverage.Required Skills and Experience:6 years experience in a technical support / operational roleAll-round, with broad scope technology knowledge, specifically Linux.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of gathering and delivering information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.A working knowledge of monitoring tools, both event management and metricsGood problem-solving method and approachEvidence of accountability and ownership when managing incidents.Ability to analyse logs and troubleshoot issues.Excellent attention to detail and organisational skillsDocker/Kubenetes experienceVirtualisation – Open Stack, VMWareCloud Platform experience – Google GK, Amazon EKSExperience with code repositories GitHub/GitLabExperience with CI/CD pipelinesExperience with DNS/HTTPS certificates.Experience with orchestration tools Ansible and Ansible Tower.Experience with event workflow ticketing systems, for example Zendesk / JiraWhat We're Looking ForBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or its equivalent.Company SummaryAbout Anaxi™Anaxi is Aristocrat Leisure Limited’s (ASX:ALL) dedicated online Real Money Gaming and Customer Experience Solutions business.
