
EAP Counsellor

- Deliver telephonic and virtual counselling sessions, offering immediate, solution-focused support to a diverse client base
- Conduct risk assessments and intervene appropriately based on client needs
- Monitor client progress, adapt treatment plans, and provide consistent support and motivation
- Maintain accurate and timely case documentation in accordance with clinical policies
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and professionals using solid verbal and written communication skills
- Participate in mandatory training modules and ongoing professional development
- Ensure strict confidentiality and compliance with ethical and legal standards
- Stay informed on regulatory and legislative updates relevant to the role
- Actively contribute to team meetings and collaborative initiatives
- Demonstrate initiative by taking on additional responsibilities as needed
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
- Minimum duration of 12 months of continuous service in their current grade and position
- Performance rating in the last common review cycle of "Meets Expectations" or higher
- Not be on any active CAP (Corrective Action Plan) or active disciplinary action

- Masters in clinical or counselling psychology
- 2+ years of experience in counselling or therapy
- Experience in telephone/video counselling
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, with fluency in English
- Background in Employee Assistance Programs (EAP)
- 24/7 Rotational Shifts: Available Monday through Sunday
- Full-Time Permanent Role: 5 working days per week
- Solid clinical judgment and a deep understanding of confidentiality and ethical responsibilities
