Roles & Responsibilities • Prepare and manage all import/export documentation including invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, bills of lading, and certificates of origin. • Ensure compliance with customs laws, DGFT regulations, and international trade laws. • Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, transporters, and customs agents for smooth execution of shipments. • Negotiate freight rates and logistics costs while ensuring timely deliveries. • Liaise with international clients, suppliers, and overseas agents for order processing and shipment updates. • Handle payment modes including Letter of Credit (LC), Telegraphic Transfer (TT), and related financial documentation. • Conduct market research to identify new sources for imports and new markets for exports. • Resolve issues related to customs clearance, shipping delays, and documentation discrepancies. • Prepare MIS reports on imports, exports, and cost efficiency for management review. • Maintain accurate records of all shipments, contracts, and vendor communications. Candidate Requirements • Graduate in Commerce / International Business / Logistics or related field. • 2–5 years of relevant experience in Import/Export operations. • Knowledge of customs clearance, DGFT policies, and international trade practices. • Good communication and negotiation skills with fluency in English. • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP systems. • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
