- Lead mechanical design and development of robotic products, assemblies, and components.
- Create detailed 3D models, engineering drawings, and BOMs using CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).
- Perform tolerance analysis, stress analysis, thermal analysis, and DFMEA to ensure design reliability.
- Collaborate closely with electronics, software, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Oversee prototyping, testing, and validation of mechanical systems.
- Select materials and manufacturing processes based on project requirements and cost constraints.
- Evaluate and improve existing mechanical designs for performance, manufacturability, and durability.
- Support product documentation, technical specifications, and compliance with safety standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Proficient in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, manufacturing processes (sheet metal, machining, injection molding), and GD&T.
- Experience with robotics, automation systems, or electromechanical assemblies is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with simulation tools (ANSYS, SolidWorks Simulation, etc.) is desirable.
