Digantara is building the world's first maps for space, Space-Mission Assurance Platform (Space-MAP ). Space-MAP represents a revolutionary end-to-end infrastructure for sustainable space operations, offering a comprehensive space situational awareness (SSA) solution that simplifies and strengthens satellite operations in the face of the rapidly expanding commercialization of space. Digantara is working on multiple govt-funded projects for space surveillance and SSA analytics. Digantara is seeking a skilled project manager to oversee the development and monitoring of the various innovation projects developed in partnership with government agencies. As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in planning, monitoring, and implementing project timelines and keeping the project documents updated while effectively communicating progress to both internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibility: Actively build and maintain relationships with funding agencies, PoCs and Vendors for smooth operations. Develop a detailed project plan, with risks and mitigations mapped to track progress and plan for contingencies as per the guidelines of funding agency like IDEX-DIO. Monitor project progress and ensure project delivery on time, within scope and within budget. Coordinate with internal teams and third party vendors for realizing various systems being developed for the Project. Collaborate with vendors to refine designs and build hardware with highest quality standards that meet the performance requirements and features. Ensure Standard practices and methodologies are practiced and implemented across the teams and vendors Conduct reviews of development process and generate necessary reports for the stake holders Measure project performance and adherence to requirements being completed using necessary tools and techniques. Use appropriate verification methods to manage change in project scope schedule and costs Requirement: 2-5 years of experience as Project manager for Governement Projects in Technology sector (e.g., IDEX-DIO, AIM, TDF, MAKE etc). Experience and Understanding of regulations and process requirements for the government projects under IDEX-DIO, AIM, TDF, MAKE and other schemes Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively prioritize and track task completion. Proficiency in project planning, scheduling, and risk management, with a specific emphasis on leveraging data insights for projects in the space or technology sector. Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools such as Asana, Jira etc., and best practices. Prefered Qualification: Familiarity with space industry concepts, satellite technologies, space standards (ECSS, NASA etc) and launch processes. Understanding of Product development lifecycles of Hardware and Software products. Understanding of data analytics and visualization tools, and experience in leveraging data insights to drive project management decisions. General Requirement: Ability to work in a mission-focused, operational environment. Ability to think critically and make independent decisions. Interpersonal skills to enable working in a diverse and dynamic team. Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule. Writing and delivering technical documents and briefings. Verbal and written communications skills as well as organizational skills. Travel occasionally as necessary.
