The Sr Security Engineer I Developer will be responsible for developing and deploying new security capabilities and automations in a multi-cloud environment.CANDIDATE PROFILE:Required:
Bachelors degree in information security or related field or equivalent experience/certification
4+ years overall Information Technology experience
2+ years of software development experience
2+ year(s) experience in Information Security
2+ year(s) in public cloud (e.g. AWS, Azure, Alicloud, Oracle)
2+ year(s) with Python
1+ year with Power BI
Hands-on experience with building and managing cloud functions (e.g., AWS Lambda)
Hands-on experience building and deploying CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools
Hands-on experience with developing custom capabilities using Python
Strong experience with infrastructure provisioning and automations (IaC) using Terraform or similar tools
Proven ability to work independently and with others in a cross functional environment
Ability to articulate complex technical ideas in easy-to-understand business terms.
Preferred:
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP),AWS Professional Architect, AWS Security Specialty, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
Experience working with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of securing technologies such as but not limited to; Cloud-Native Services (e.g., Guard Duty, API Gateway), AI components (e.g., Bedrock) Container Platforms (e.g., Docker, KuberneLL.tes), APIs, Identity and Access Management.
Excellent communication skills and problem-solving ability.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others.
Ability to manage the details and compliance with standards and expectations.
Technical infrastructure operations, administration, or engineering background
Education and Certifications:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/certification
