- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain the highest standards of hygiene in the kitchen
- Participate in food tastings, special events, and promotional activities to elevate the restaurant's profile
- Work closely with local suppliers to source high-quality, sustainable ingredients
- Analyze and optimize kitchen processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a high-volume, quality-driven restaurant or hotel environment
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training from a recognized institution
- Deep knowledge of culinary trends, cooking techniques, and kitchen management best practices
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Strong ability to manage a diverse team and thrive in a fast-paced setting
- Proficiency in menu planning, food cost control, and budget management
- Creativity in dish presentation and flavor combinations
- Up-to-date food safety certification
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions under pressure
- Familiarity with local cuisine and ingredients of Visakhapatnam and surrounding regions
- Proficiency in kitchen management software and inventory systems
