Currently operating 180 + Hotels and Private Residences in major city centers and resort destination in 47 countries, and with many more projects in development stage, Four Seasons consistently ranks among the world’s best hotels and most prestigious brands in reader polls, traveler reviews and industry awards.Main Duties/Description:Plan, organize, control and direct the work of employees responsible for preparation of sweet items, pastries, cakes, ice creams, sorbets, fruit compotes breads, chocolates and show pieces while ensuring superior quality and consistency.Coordinate the selection, training, development, and evaluation of employees in the Bakery Kitchen through effective management and leadership to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met.Assist in the planning and development of recipes, and ensure the correct preparation and presentation of a consistent level for all food items prepared through production and demonstration.Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory control.Ensure that sanitation standards as set forth by Four Seasons, local, state, and federal regulations are in compliance as well as the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.Maintain control systems which will assure quality and portion consistency, monitor food shipments to ensure they meet established purchasing specifications as well and foster an awareness of the importance of food preparation and quality.Communicate with employees and managers to ensure operational needs are met as well as attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments.Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.Prepare food items.Assist with set-up and cleaning of operational areas.Preferred Qualifications and Skills:2 years of bakery experience in same role in 5 Star Luxury Hotels, fast-paced environment.Good communication skills and experience in using/working with computer.High work ethic, with a sense of responsibility.The benefits offered by Four Seasons Hotel Kuwait include:Complimentary accommodation on full board basis in a high quality, well-resourced compound with Wi-Fi internetComplimentary nights at other FS Hotels worldwideOpportunities to learn and grow with online and offline trainingsRegular social and sports eventsPaid home leave with flight ticketsHealth medical and insurance benefitsFree transportation to and from work with Wi-Fi internet accessWork AuthorizationHotel will apply for the Kuwait work authorization for the successful candidate.We look forward to receive your application!
