In this role, This position has responsibility to perform daily Corporate Loan Closings and Amendments wherein company is acting as Agent or Lender in a syndicated deal or bi-lateral. The position supports a robust portfolio of Loan Products/ Business Lines. The position requires a working knowledge of the Corporate Loan market, as well as experience managing a variety of daily tasks in a high volume and business facing environmentResponsibilities
  • Knowledge of general commercial banking products (especially commercial lending required), and Loan Documentation
  • Read and interpret legal documents like Credit Agreement / loan agreement, Amendments, Amendment & Restated Credit Agreement, Fee letter, etc.
  • Prepare Credit Facility set-up for New Deals, Renewals, Terminations, Amendments, Trade Processing Allocation adjustments as per approved Credit Applications by verifying the accuracy and completeness in accordance with approved credit application and relevant documents.
  • Utilize knowledge of bank policies, procedures and accounting principles to ensure timely and accurate processing of new/renewal facility set-up via direct communication with Business lines and accurate instructions to Administration Group.
  • Interact with customers and facilitate the processing of all bank documents submitted in alignment with business transactions completed in compliance with departments procedure.
  • Facilitate accurate record keeping, approval of all documentation and ensure the appropriate dissemination of relevant documentation to necessary departments. - Recommend ways in which to improve and streamline workflow which will generate higher level of customer satisfaction.
  • Provide detailed feedback to appropriate parties utilizing communication skills related to customer’s business or suspicious activities.
  • Support other sections within the department and perform general office duties as needed.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate banking procedures, products and operations as required
  • Expertise in continuously reviewing workflow and recommended organizational changes
  • Multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Ensures adherence to all bank policies and procedures relative to Regulatory Compliance.
  • Ensure all departmental structural and procedural changes are implemented where necessary
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
  • Post Graduate/ Graduate (Commerce/Finance Graduates)
  • Relevant Commercial Lending experience
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
  • Knowledge of Syndicated and Commercial Loan products.
  • Knowledge and experience working in a Loan Operations team.
  • Good communication and inter-personal skills
  • Competency in Finance/Accounting
  • Good Comprehension skills
  • Good Analytical/Reasoning skills
  • Ability to read, Interpret and analyze legal language
  • Good Written and Verbal Communication Skills
  • Deadline driven and strong multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to make good judgments and have a tact for solving problems.
  • Ability to effectively deal with customers, investors/lenders/Agent banks, relationship managers and syndications teams.
