Salary: Up to 18 LPARole Overview:The Communications Manager will lead and strengthen the institutional voice and communication strategy across online and offline platforms. You will be responsible for translating complex policy, research, and systems transformation work into compelling narratives for diverse audiences, including government bodies, ecosystem partners, and the general public.Key Responsibilities:1. Institutional Positioning & Strategic Communications
- Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy to position the organization as a leading voice on inclusive education-to-employment pathways.
- Translate complex systems transformation initiatives and research insights into clear, accessible communication outputs.
- Ensure consistent messaging across all internal and external platforms.
- Support leadership visibility across policy forums, conferences, and digital channels like LinkedIn.
- Draft briefing notes, presentations, op-eds, articles, and talking points for leadership engagements.
- Maintain a leadership communications calendar to track and manage speaking opportunities.
- Lead end-to-end content development for reports, policy briefs, newsletters, social media, and website content.
- Manage and strengthen the digital presence of core missions and campaigns across social media platforms.
- Support the creation of visual storytelling assets, including infographics and short-form videos.
- Plan and execute communication strategies for events, roundtables, and major partnership launches.
- Develop event materials, including concept notes, invitations, and post-event summaries.
- Manage communications with government partners, donors, and collaborators through customized updates and newsletters.
- Track performance metrics across channels to optimize communication strategies based on analytics.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and utilize AI-enabled communication tools to improve workflows.
- Education: Bachelor's degree required; Postgraduate preferred in Communications, Journalism, Public Policy, or related fields.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.
- Ability to simplify complex ideas and policy concepts.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple outputs simultaneously.
- A collaborative mindset and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
