Job RequirementsAbout the RoleThe Product Lead – Digital Lending (Consumer Loans) will be responsible for driving growth and innovation in the bank’s digital lending portfolio. Based at the Head Office in Mumbai, this role focuses on onboarding and scaling partnerships with digital lending platforms, acquiring new customers through seamless digital journeys, and enhancing portfolio profitability. The role demands close collaboration with internal teams including Analytics, Technology, Legal, Risk, and Compliance to ensure successful integration, regulatory alignment, and service excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesPrimary Responsibilities
  • Onboard newly acquired digital lending partners, including partner and product evaluation, preparation and approval of product notes, technical integration, and loan book growth.
  • Drive large-scale acquisition of new-to-bank customers by designing innovative digital journeys.
  • Enhance portfolio profitability by achieving targets across customer acquisition, product penetration, and portfolio quality.
  • Collaborate with the analytics team to design and refine partner-specific scorecards and underwriting engines.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory compliance, risk management standards, and service quality benchmarks.
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to develop and execute implementation plans for new partnerships.
  • Recommend and drive process automation to improve service efficiency.
  • Liaise with the technology team to ensure successful integration with external partners, enabling faster turnaround times for partner onboarding.
  • Work closely with legal teams to finalize service agreements with external partners and vendors.
  • Collaborate with risk functions to ensure product and portfolio compliance with applicable norms.
What We Are Looking ForEducation
  • Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Technology, or a related field.
Experience
  • Proven experience in digital lending, consumer loans, or fintech partnerships.
  • Strong background in product management, partner onboarding, and customer acquisition.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including technology, analytics, legal, and risk.
