Define systems of record and catalog operational and nonoperational data stores. Consult with features teams on how to get them the data they need.Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and participating in professional organizationsHelp teach other team members about data architecture, and also be a consultant for developers who need help with data.What You’ll Need to be Successful in this RoleBachelor’s or master’s Degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or information systemsAt least 10 years of experience and expertise in database and systems architecture design, development, and implementation with Oracle technologies (like Oracle database, Grid, Oracle Golden Gate, ASM, RAC, and Oracle Enterprise Manager)At least 10 years of expertise and experience in data structures, indexing, query, and retrieval.Excellent data management skills including ensuring data integrity, data access, security and archiving proceduresAt least 10 years of experience in system analysis and data managementAt least 7 years of experience with other relational database technologies (SQL Server, MySQL, AWS Aurora, or PostgreSQL)At least 7 years of experience using Ansible, Jenkins, Jira, Rundeck and Service NowAt least 5 years of experience with Python, and shell scriptingAt least 5 years of public cloud experience (AWS, Azure, and GCP)At least 4 years of experience with NoSQL database technologies (like Mongo, Cosmos, Dynamo, or Document databases)At least 4 years of experience with CI/CD, DevOps, Azure and AWS automation toolsStrong communication skillsGen is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
