The Manager - HR Operations will oversee and enhance the human resources processes within the financial services industry, ensuring compliance and efficiency in all operational aspects. This role is pivotal in driving organisational success through effective HR management and process optimisation.Leadership & Operations Management
  • Oversee day-to-day HR operations, ensuring consistent delivery of services and adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Act as the first point of escalation for regional service issues; perform root cause analysis and initiate corrective actions.
  • Lead and support initiatives tied to employee lifecycle events, administrative processes, and process improvement.
  • Administer quality control processes including audits and data accuracy reviews to ensure high standards of compliance and delivery.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Establish and maintain regular communications with business and HR leaders across segments to align expectations, report on service outcomes, and support local HR strategies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure alignment on priorities and seamless execution of tasks.
Team Development & Performance
  • Provide performance coaching, feedback, and upskilling opportunities for HRSD team members to enhance capability and accountability.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, ensuring SOPs and documentation are current and utilized.
  • Track team metrics, identify trends, and act on areas for improvement and growth.
Process Optimization & Innovation
  • Drive operational efficiency through standardization, simplification, and implementation of AI and automation solutions.
  • Champion process redesign efforts to improve service delivery and enhance the employee experience.
  • Support vendor management and evaluate third-party effectiveness against defined SLAs.
Opportunity to work with a global organisationStrategic role
  • Post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of progressive HR experience in a shared services environment, including administrative and transactional support across multiple regions.
  • Minimum 3 years of team management experience with demonstrated success in coaching and team performance.
  • Workday and SolarWinds (or similar ticketing systems) experience preferred.
  • Proven experience in automating HR operations and driving digital transformation initiatives.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and lookups) and MS Office Suite.
