- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
- Build and manage data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Dataflows Gen2, Lakehouse, Warehouse)
- Develop semantic models and optimize data models for performance
- Implement DAX calculations, KPIs, and business logic
- Integrate data from multiple sources (SQL, APIs, cloud platforms)
- Ensure data accuracy, governance, and security (RLS, access control)
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements
- Monitor and optimize report performance and refresh schedules
- Support deployment and CI/CD processes for BI solutions
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices
- Strong experience with Power BI (Desktop & Service)
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric
- Proficiency in:
- DAX
- Power Query (M language)
- SQL
- Experience with:
- Data modeling (star schema, snowflake schema)
- ETL/ELT processes
- Large-scale datasets and performance tuning
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably Azure)
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts
- Experience with:
- Azure Synapse Analytics
- Azure Data Factory
- Databricks
- Familiarity with:
- CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Git)
- Python or Spark for data processing
- Microsoft certifications such as:
- Power BI Data Analyst Associate
- Fabric Analytics Engineer
- 5–8+ years in BI/Data Analytics roles
- 2+ years working with Microsoft Fabric or similar modern data platforms
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Excellent communication with business stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and in agile teams
- Exposure to real-time analytics
- Experience with data governance tools
- Knowledge of AI/ML integration in BI
