Software Engineer II

• Contribute to the delivery of complex solutions, breaking down big problems into smaller pieces
• Actively participate in team planning activities
• Ensure the quality and integrity of the SDLC for their team and identify opportunities for improvement in how the team works, through usage of recommended tools and practices.
• Able to triage complex issues independently
• Aware of the technology landscape, help to plan delivery of coarse-grained business needs spanning multiple applications
• Set a consistent example of agile development practices and coach other engineers to work as a team with Product and Experience Design
• Help new hires and junior engineers to improve their skills and be more effective
• Contribute to and improve internal libraries and tools
• Understand the business supported by your applications
• Proactively communicate status and issues to their manager
• Identify problems and risks of their own work and the work of others
• Collaborate with other teams to find creative solutions to customer issues

• 4+ years of relevant professional experience with a bachelor's degree OR equivalent. Including:

• 3+ years of collective development experience using React Native or ReactJS.
• 1+ year of experience specifically with React Native, including some or most of the following technologies: XCode, Android Studio, Cocoapods, React navigation, React Query, TanStack, Metro, Deeplinking, Push notifications, GraphQL, Git, Jest, Lerna, NX, yarn, Node.js, Axios
• React Web development should include some or most of the following technologies: NPM, Yarn, Babel, Webpack, Typescript, GraphQL, Jest, Mocha, Chai, Cypress, React Query, React Hooks, Chrome dev tools, Charles Proxy
• Understands considerations for state, session management, caching and other required JS dependencies
• Strong collaboration with product managers and XD
• Ability to triage and manage complex, production issues
• Experience building highly scalable and performing applications

• Experience working in an omni-channel retail environment
• Experience designing and building GraphQL queries and integration with front end components
• Experience developing or designing features that interact with or leverage GenAI or Machine Learning
• Ability to build and optimize web applications and platforms in a cloud environment with a solid understanding of system design
• Knowledge of networks, security, firewalls, load balancers, DNS, and other infrastructure components
