- Delivers an outcome of infrastructure readiness for the database, application migration, upgrade etc.
- Infrastructure program high level scope, planning and execution of resources from Infrastructure side.
- Mitigate the risk for production stability and plan all Infrastructure changes accordingly.
- Provides governance and oversight of all Infrastructure Readiness projects and activities.
- Uses system process analysis tools and methods to analyze and document business processes and metrics and identify improvement opportunities to streamline and automate processes and functions.
- Writes service documentation based on operational requirements to help L2/L3 teams.
- Validate operational readiness to include, but not limited to, requirements, design, event engineering, testing, documentation, training, tools, change management, service level agreements (SLAs), service assurance policies & procedures, escalation procedures, and disaster recovery & business continuity.
- Lead the infrastructure implementation programs including major and regular patching and upgrade initiatives to drive latest technology stack and platform health.
- Ensure customer requests are completed in its entirety to include end-to-end testing to resolution.
- Leads the delivery of technology platforms and the associated requirements of networks, infrastructure and security.
- Works with cross-functional teams as an infrastructure SME and suggest the best practices around database, application, networks cloud, automation etc.
- Leads the proactive monitoring agenda for all infrastructure services and make sure it is aligned with org strategy and vison.
- A cloud preacher and practitioner who can work closely as part of digital transformation program.
- Pentaho/ETL tool deployment along with load balancing mechanism to support parallel execution of ETL jobs.
- Strong knowledge of SQL/Pl-SQL/T-Sql
- Oracle Database administration (DBA)
- Data Warehousing/Data Lake/ Data Lakehouse concepts.
- Monitoring tools -Grafana, Netcool, Geneos, etc.
- Replication tools – SnowMirror, Oracle Golden Gate etc.
- Oracle RAC, ASM, OEM Grid control etc.
- Cloud – Public, Private, Hybrid (GCP, AWS, FABRIC etc.)
- Security protocols TLS/SSL/HTTPS
- Security certificates – PKI, CACERTS etc.
- Scripting language – (shell, PowerShell)
- Job scheduling tools – (JOC, Control-M etc.)
- Backup-Recovery/High availability implementations in Oracle.
- Experience in building migration strategies.
- Experience in Pentaho cluster setup using carte service.
- Hands on database administration experience specially on Oracle.
- Experience in monitoring setup and auto healing mechanism.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve database and server level performance issues.
- Application/database cloning experience is advantageous.
- Experience setting up Apache Tomcat or any other webserver technology.
- Experience setting up VHS/Cloud VM servers on Linux/Windows
- Experience in FGAC (Fine grain access control) or similar mechanism.
- Experience on Oracle HA using RAC and dataguard.
- Experience in handling DR exercise at database and server level.
- Good experience in automation using Ansible or similar is must.
- Experience working in a controlled environment is a plus.
