Key Responsibilities:Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of POS applications.Validate POS transactions including cash, card, UPI, refunds, discounts, promotions, and loyalty programs.Verify hardware and peripheral integrations (receipt printers, scanners, cash drawers, payment terminals).Write, review, and execute detailed test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios.Log defects, track them to closure, and provide clear defect reports with reproduction steps.Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.Perform UAT support and production validation during new POS releases.Ensure compliance with QA processes, standards, and best practices.RequirementsRequired Skills & Qualifications:5+ years of experience in Functional QA with a focus on POS testing.Strong knowledge of retail POS systems, transactions, and workflows.Experience in manual testing (automation knowledge is a plus).Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Strong defect management skills using tools like JIRA, ALM, or similar.Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with tight deadlines.Good to Have:Exposure to test automation tools (Selenium, Appium, or similar).Experience in testing mobile POS (mPOS) applications.Knowledge of payment gateways and third-party integrations.Experience with mobile POS (mPOS) and payment gateway testing
