Read on…What you’ll do in the role:Lead and mentor a team of data management and distribution professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.Collaborate with cross-functional global teams, including IT, analytics, and business units, to align data management and distribution strategies with organizational goals.Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on data-related opportunities and risks.What you’ll bring to the role:8-16 years of experience in designing and building highly resilient data platformsStrong knowledge of data engineering, architecture, and data modellingExperience in platforms like Snowflake, DBT and Apache AirFlow.Experience in building datawarehouse. Strong hands-on experience in Python, SQL, Airflow, DatabricksExperience on building applications on cloud (Azure)Strong programming skills (Python, optionally Java / Scala) with the willingness to pick up other languagesPrior experience in working with Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, working with PR-s, using JIRA, following the Scrum Agile methodology is an advantage.Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsGood to have skills:Deep understanding of trade lifecycles of complex OTC derivative products like Swaps, Options, FX Forward and other financial derivatives in the context of regulatory reporting.Familiarity with standard devops tools - Jenkins, Sonar, JiraWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY:We are committed to maintaining the first-class service and high standard of excellence that have defined Morgan Stanley for over 89 years.
