We are seeking a talented Software Application Developer to join our growing global engineering team.In this role, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of embedded software for a versatile control unit that manages a wide range of operator-facing vehicle functions such as HVAC, lighting, onboard counters, and inter-ECU communication and communicates seamlessly with other control units. This control unit supports a common platform strategy across multiple AGCO brands, product sites, and vehicle types. The role involves hands-on development of real-time, safety-critical software using modern toolchains, in close collaboration with international teams. technology.Your ImpactDevelop structured and object-oriented application software in C/C++ for embedded systems.Design and implement software for safety-critical control and regulation systems under real-time conditions using modern development environments (e.g., GitHub, CloudBees)Interface with sensors and actuators to manage various vehicle functions such as HVAC, onboard counters, lighting, and inter-ECU communication.Implement CAN Bus communication protocols, including J1939 and UDSDevelop and execute module-level tests and maintain documentation in compliance with ISO 25119 standards.Your Experience and QualificationsCompleted studies (Bachelor / Master's degree) in the fields of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a comparable education.Minimum 5+ Years of professional experience in the field.Strong experience in software development with C/C++ and Experience with Model Based Software Development.Strong experience with micro controllers for embedded real-time automotive applications is desired, preferably, experience with Electronic Control Units in tractors and agricultural machinery.Strong commitment and ability to work collaboratively within an international team.Your BenefitsGLOBAL DIVERSITY - Diversity means many things to us, different brands, cultures, nationalities, genders, generations - even variety in our roles.
