- Implement and support Adobe Cloud hosted applications, virtual machines, databases, and storage systems in cloud deployments.
- Identify and support application monitoring solutions.
- Repair and resolve challenging issues to sustain flawless operations.
- Ensure maximum uptime, performance, and security for UNIX-based services.
- Craft and improve operational documentation.
- Support and mentor team members with your expertise.
- Analyze performance trends to inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to roll out new products and services.
- Perform system administration tasks such as account management, patching, and application deployment.
- Enforce security compliance processes and controls.
- Automate routine cloud deployment and monitoring tasks programmatically.
- Participate in 24x7 on-call pager rotation and incident management.
- 4-8 years of expertise in medium to large-scale Linux and Windows environments.
- Expertise in AWS/Azure, including deploying/migrating services and containerization with Docker, Kubernetes/EKS/AKS.
- Experience with open-source monitoring and configuration management tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, NewRelic, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
- Solid grasp of key protocols (TCP/IP, SSH, DNS, etc.).
- Familiarity with setup control tools such as Chef or Ansible.
- Superb communication skills and a dedicated, eager attitude.
- Demonstrable experience in building Monitoring & Observability solutions.
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows structures.
- Knowledge of big data services like Hadoop and Data Bricks.
- Understanding of security compliance frameworks (SOC II, PCI, HIPPA, ISO27001, FedRAMP).
- Programming skills in Python/Java/Go.
- Desire to maintain a reliable, secure, and scalable environment for millions of users.
- Experience with MySQL, Java, Apache, and Tomcat.
- Ability to solve complex system/application problems.
- Experience in managing uptime and performance using SLx.
