You'll be part of a team that values clear communication, continuous learning, and the impact that thoughtful analysis can have on a global organization.Key Job ResponsibilitiesConduct detailed data research and analysis on large financial datasets; investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve data quality issues to ensure accuracy and reliability
Create critical reporting that supports compliance and accounting requirements across the organization
Define business requirements for technical development by analyzing datasets and translating business objectives into actionable specifications
Partner with customer teams to identify opportunities for improving efficiency and data processes; provide guidance on utilizing designed reporting and functionality
Build and maintain collaborative relationships with key technology providers and technical teams across Amazon to support data initiativesBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent field
3+ years Experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field
3+ years Proficiency with SQL for data analysis and query development
Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
Proficiency with ExcelPreferred QualificationsExperience with AWS technology stack (such as AWS Redshift, S3, EC2, or Glue)
Background in tax or accounting systems and processes
Experience working with large-scale financial or compliance datasetsAbout the team
