- Addressing customer complaints through detailed failure analysis, identifying ICA/PCA processes, and communicating planned corrective actions to the Product Verification Team and Service departments.
- Maintaining a strong customer focus throughout various buy-off stages and ensuring alignment with audit results through regular calibration checks.
- Supporting detailed analyses of quality concerns and ensuring that quality tools and techniques are employed in accordance with MQS guidelines.
- Facilitating the application of quality tools within all manufacturing sectors to achieve defect-free products.
- Developing effective Management Information Systems (MIS) for accurate management reporting that is both timely and periodically updated.
- Proactively identifying process gaps and concerns, executing corrective measures in collaboration with the Cross-Functional Team (CFT).
- Managing Change Processes including Fitment Verification (FTR Approval), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities, and maintaining thorough documentation.
- Overseeing timely completion of new project quality gateway deliverables for new models, ensuring that products are right-first-time.
- Establishing and sustaining a robust Quality Management System according to ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949 standards.
- Proficient knowledge of Quality Assurance (QA) systems.
- Experience in Failure Analysis and Root Cause Analysis methodologies.
- Ability to utilise Problem Solving Tools effectively.
- Skills in Team Management and collaboration.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
- In-depth Product Knowledge of Transmissions, Transaxles, and Axles.
- Familiarity with Gear Manufacturing and quality inspection processes.
- Knowledge of Housing Machining techniques.
- A Certified Auditor qualification will be advantageous.
