Job Title : Manager - QualityLocation: Electronics City, BangaloreNoPo Nanotechnologies one of the few deep tech companies globally that leads the research and development in the nanotubes space. The company manufactures and sells high-quality single walled carbon nanotubes using proprietary methods known as HiPCO®. These nanotubes are extremely small and strong, with a range of useful properties such as semi-conductivity, low density, and high conductivity. They have been used in a variety of applications, including Li-ion batteries, space, defence, and electronics. NoPo is currently scaling up production to meet the customer demands.Job Summary :As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for implementing quality philosophy and processes required to service global customers in the EV and electronics/semiconductor space. You will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards as we scale up our manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality management systems, regulatory requirements and best practices in the chemical manufacturing industryKey Responsibilities:
  • Establish quality standards and certification required ensure consistent, high-quality goods are being delivered to the customer every time
  • Build processes and team to ensure the quality is not compromised as the business scales
  • Design quality checks and protocols to ensure batch to batch consistency of material
  • Participate and qualify for required ISO and other certifications for the plant and supply chain
  • Establish evaluation checks for vendor onboarding
  • Work with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with R&D and production teams to ensure new products meet quality specifications and can be successfully scaled up for production
  • Conduct regular audits of manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience as a QC manager in the chemical/biotech/API industry
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing and chemical processes, quality management systems, production equipment and safety protocols.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Thorough understanding of safety protocols, risk assessment and the ability to promote a safety-first culture within the team.
