- Establish quality standards and certification required ensure consistent, high-quality goods are being delivered to the customer every time
- Build processes and team to ensure the quality is not compromised as the business scales
- Design quality checks and protocols to ensure batch to batch consistency of material
- Participate and qualify for required ISO and other certifications for the plant and supply chain
- Establish evaluation checks for vendor onboarding
- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to ensure new products meet quality specifications and can be successfully scaled up for production
- Conduct regular audits of manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies
- 5 years of experience as a QC manager in the chemical/biotech/API industry
- Strong understanding of manufacturing and chemical processes, quality management systems, production equipment and safety protocols.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Thorough understanding of safety protocols, risk assessment and the ability to promote a safety-first culture within the team.
