Responsibilities:This role will be responsible for external sales and marketing which will include the following:- Identifying potential clients and interacting with existing clients by holding meetings, delivering presentations and promoting the company- Creation and advancement of healthy relationships with all clients- Attending conferences, seminars , business promotion meetings etc.,- Working with the Business Development & Technical Team to identify the opportunities and generating enquiries which fits best for the company (internal, external, digital marketing, etc.)- Preparation of MOM for all the meetings / interactions and submission of monthly Business Development Report along with taking lead for conducting weekly sales calls and competing/ ensuring compliance- Seeking new enquiries through online portals/ newspaper / Technical journals etc.- Responsible for ensuring website is up to date in coordination with the digital marketing team- Responsible for preparing and maintaining all marketing documents (CV's, PDS, Testimonials, corporate presentation etc.)- Interaction with internal technical team and further Liaise with clients for the purpose of project data, clarifications, site visits, etc.- Responsible for complete proposals (email, formal, letter etc.) including technical , financial , Legal ( BG, EMDs, etc.)- Should understand the online e-tendering portal system for submission of bids for all tenders.The Individual :- A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Marine Engineering from a reputed university preferably with a post-graduation in Sales and Marketing- Should have over 8-10 years of work experience in Business Development- Excellent standard of written and verbal English- Experience in leadership and management of resources and staff- Good interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to delegate to and motivate others- Excellent, reasoning, problem-solving, and communication skills- Results orientated, decisive decision-maker- Understanding of financial issues- Excellent customer relationship management skills.Other Requirements:The position is based in Mumbai although travel could be required to project locations.
