Job RequirementsAt QuEST Global, Thermal Systems Design (TSD) Engineers are responsible to provide services to deliver predictions and solutions to the GE Aerospace products and conducting thermal management studies. Team is primarily responsible to deliver secondary flows for cooling/heating, temperatures and clearances by performing 2D/3D Rotor-Stator flow-thermal simulations, analyzing and testing on a Unified Thermal Design Environment (UTDE), with integrated tools framework, participating in the Design cycle, Customer and Technical reviews for delivering key finding and solutions to meet product design requirements.Work ExperienceEssential Responsibilities:

Knowledge in working at Secondary air cooling and Thermal systems design of gas turbine components and ability to drive process & technical excellency with sound engineering principles and adhering to the design practices and product/program requirements.
Strong at fundamentals in heat transfer, fluid dynamics & gas turbines. Ability to work and connect from component level to system level.
Management & Execution of the project by planning, prioritizing, excellent quality, on time delivery and with high customer satisfaction.
Documentation of technical data generated by assigned projects consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
Execution focuses and Judgemental skills, Hands-on engineering, performing calculations and testing.
Quick at learning and implementing the design practices and upgrading to the new technology/tools.

Requirements:

Masters in Thermal related discipline or Undergraduate with good knowledge in Heat Transfer and Compressible fluid flow
2-3 yrs. of prior hands-on experience in delivering successful aero-thermal and heat transfer projects. Leading complex projects working in team.
Experience in Hypermesh and UG NX is preferred.
Should have good knowledge at least one computer language. Hands on experience with MS Excel and power point.

Desired Qualifications:

Strong at the fundamentals of fluid dynamics and heat transfer and Gas Turbine components and working principles. CFD skills are optional but not compulsory.
Fast learner having strong analytical skills. Passion & excel to deliver outcomes to represent and build team’s credibility.
Brings in “WOW” factor to deliver with process & technical excellency.
Conducts good internal and customer meetings, strategically prioritize work, prepares plan, discuss challenges and solutions for quality and on-time delivery
Leadership-coordination-communication skills. Strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborates with team and customers.

Delivering with full focus, preparing documents, conducting successful reviews
