Job Description As a member of the Governance and Modernization team, you are needed to manage projects across multiple teams in Markets Securities Operations. The nature of the projects can be multi-faceted including but not limited to [a] change management, [b] running governance routines and publishing scorecards, [c] coordinating strategic system migrations, [d] operations transformation projects etc.. The role involves data analysis, stakeholder management (variety of tech and ops teams), providing management updates/reports besides acquiring a working knowledge of some strategic tools like iRecs, SOLAR etc.. to ensure timely and accurate coordination of critical projects that help achieve strategic outcomes. Working in a fast paced environment that is replete with changes is a part of the role's nature. Staying flexible, displaying a panache for learning and dealing with changes besides multi-tasking across competing priorities are expected from the employee taking up the role. Job Responsibilities Coordinate and work on change management and operations transformation projects across Markets Securities Operations teams that help in achieving strategic outcomes Prepare project documentation like project charters, business cases, scorecards, minutes of the meetings that help in providing regular updates to operations management teams Collate, analyze and report data driven insights that helps management make informed decisions Assist in performing Quality Assurance, periodic process and control design reviews, identify gaps and assist in remediation of issues Identify ways to improve processes/procedures to enhance quality and/or productivity Communicate efficiently and effectively with all stakeholders i.e. multiple Technology and Operations teams, working groups and senior leadership Exercise sound judgment; act with integrity; protect our company, clients, and customers. Display ability to understand and embrace uncertainty in managing projects by being flexible and maintaining a high degree of focus and partnering with fellow team members Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills 5 years of capital markets business process outsourcing industry experience. Knowledge of securities settlements and securities asset servicing will be an added advantage Good logical reasoning skills required. Understanding of data and its elements with basic knowledge of statistical data analysis is needed The candidate must be flexible to work on multiple projects at a given period of time. Staying self-motivated and working closely with local and global team members is required Good oral and written communication skills and basic working knowledge on MS Office suite of applications is required. Good MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills will be an added advantage Ability to organize to prioritize workload to manage concurrent tasks and meet competing deadlines Strong technical and analytical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Preferred experience using automation tools a plus (e.g., Python, Alteryx, Tableau) ABOUT US J.P.
