Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage geotechnical and geological analyses, manage staff and supporting sub-consultants , conduct research, perform preliminary geological reconnaissance, geotechnical and geological studies, review testing results, and develop design recommendations.
Description:
-Experience in preparation of Geotechnical Interpretative reports for foundations of bridge structures using IRC, IRS, IS and other relevant international codes.
-Extensive knowledge of software like Wallap, Plaxis, Capwap, FB Multipier, etc.,.
-Ensure all engineering works comply with all relevant Statutory standards, Regulations and Codes of Practices.
-Review design prepared by engineers and maintaining high-quality standards of design consultancy service.
-Geotechnical Engineer will undertake the task of planning and designing structures for roads, building, canals, embankments and other construction products.
-The job description also entails going beyond construction role and dealing with matters like – geological hazards such as landslides, soil erosion, earthquakes and other extreme conditions.
-Typical job duties include – performing geotechnical analysis and assessing construction site coordination, planning and conducting geotechnical exploration, analyzing geotechnical findings, developing drawings and specifications for construction projects, and providing direction to the technical team during the inspection process.
