Reporting To: Director – Business Development / CEOAbout the RoleWe are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead our client acquisition efforts and fuel revenue growth in our IT recruitment and staffing vertical. This role requires a strong understanding of the IT hiring ecosystem, client relationship management, and consultative B2B sales. - Identify and develop new business opportunities in the IT services and tech staffing sector.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with HR Heads, Hiring Managers, CTOs, and Procurement Leaders across mid-to-large IT companies.
- Promote and sell services including contract staffing/employee leasing, permanent hiring, RPO, and project-based recruitment.
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for employee leasing/staffing clients.
- Generate high-quality leads via cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, and networking events.
- Conduct in-depth discussions to understand client needs and present tailored recruitment solutions.
- Work closely with the recruitment delivery team to ensure timely and successful fulfilment of mandates.
- Regularly update CRM systems and lead trackers.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, while driving repeat business and account mining.
- Represent the company in industry events, job fairs, webinars, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility.
- 4–8 years of B2B business development experience in the IT recruitment/staffing industry.
- Strong knowledge of IT roles, technologies, and recruitment workflows.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to generate leads and close deals in a competitive market.
- Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
- Proficient in CRM tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and MS Office Suite.
- A well-established client network in IT/ITES employee leasing is a significant advantage.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, HR, or related discipline.
- Prior experience in an HR consulting or staffing agency is preferred.
