Job Category: Valuation AdvisoryJob Description:Kroll's Economic Advisory team specializes in providing data-led economic insights to clients across a range of advanced quantitative and geoeconomic solutions, including geoeconomic stress testing, trade and economic policy advisory, valuation and financial scenario analysis, risk and governance advisory, capital allocation and portfolio optimization, climate and energy impact modelling, and socioeconomic impact assessments.As part of the team, you will support our client-facing professionals in developing economic research, analytical tools, and modelling solutions that help us better serve clients in a rapidly evolving global landscape. In addition to supporting ongoing projects, this role provides exposure to cross-functional teams and offers opportunities to contribute to building new economic capabilities within Kroll.We are expanding our Economics team and are looking for a motivated Analyst to join us as we scale our solutions and grow our global footprint. If you are completing or have recently completed a Master's in Economics and are passionate about applied economic analysis, this is an exciting opportunity to begin your career with Kroll.Day-to-day responsibilities would include:
  • Support the development and deployment of economic models and analytical frameworks, including macroeconomic, geoeconomic, climate, and sectoral impact models.
  • Assist in producing clear and reliable outputs - including presentations, dashboards, visualizations, and written briefs - translating complex datasets into actionable insights for clients.
  • Conduct research and contribute to analyses related to trade and economic policy, geopolitical risks, capital allocation, climate risks, and socioeconomic impact assessments.
  • Assist in gathering, cleansing, structuring, and managing economic, financial, climate, and policy data from various sources (e.g., national statistical offices, IMF, World Bank, OECD).
  • Contribute to the development of scenario analysis, valuation support, and stress-testing outputs for senior team members.
  • Support engagement teams in applying economic insights across Kroll services, collaborating with colleagues from valuation, risk, restructuring, governance, and ESG practices.
  • Participate in the creation of compelling data visualizations and dashboards using Excel and Power BI (or in collaboration with relevant teams).
  • Stay informed on emerging economic trends, modelling approaches, policy developments, and global macro events relevant to client needs.
Essential traits:
  • Pursuing or recently completed a Master's degree in Economics, Econometrics, Applied Economics, Public Policy, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Strong academic exposure to economic modelling, econometrics, forecasting, and applied quantitative analysis.
  • Familiarity with statistical tools or coding languages (e.g., Python, R, Stata) is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an aptitude for handling complex datasets.
  • Familiarity with data visualization and data integration techniques such as PowerBI, Alteryx.
  • Ability to translate technical economic concepts into clear, accessible insights.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A passion for learning, curiosity for global economic issues, and evidence of self-driven skill development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams across levels and functions in a fast-paced environment.
