AWS Cloud Engineer with Terraform

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop, maintain, and optimise Terraform scripts to automate and manage AWS infrastructure setups. VPC Configuration: Design, implement, and manage VPCs, including subnets, route tables, internet gateways, and security groups to ensure secure and efficient networking. Resource Management: Provision and manage various AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS) using Terraform and ensure infrastructure is compliant with best practices. Collaboration: Work closely with developers and operations teams to support application deployment and troubleshoot issues within the cloud environment. Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of infrastructure designs, processes, and procedures for future reference and compliance purposes. Monitoring and Optimisation: Implement monitoring solutions to track performance and utilisation of cloud resources, making recommendations for improvement.

• Experience: At least 7 years of experience in DevOps area with AWS exposure. Proven experience in AWS cloud services and infrastructure management. Terraform Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Terraform, with the ability to write and manage scripts efficiently. VPC Expertise: In-depth understanding of VPC setup, including IP addressing, security, and compliance. Scripting Skills: Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks. Networking Knowledge: Solid understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, load balancing, and firewalls. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyse and resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
