Position Summary & Objective The Senior HR Generalist supports the organization by assisting in the implementing and administering of human resources programs or policies. Essential Functions Performed by the Position Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting, and administering policies and resolving associated issues. Assist HR with the process of recruitment, including vetting candidates, assisting with interviews, and issuing employment contracts. Support internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR department. Compile and maintain paper, digital, and electronic employee records, including holiday and sickness leaves. Support HR-related training programs, workshops, and seminars. Enter and audit employee data within an HRMS. Coordinate logistics for new hire orientations. Write and submit reports on general HR activities. Continuously learn the latest HR best practices to improve workplace efficiency. Assist with the implementation of human resources programs by providing human resources services, which may include recruiting and staffing, administration of compensation and benefits programs, training and development, employee or labor relations, and affirmative action/equal employment opportunity compliance. Partner with Senior Management and line managers to develop organizational strategies and achieve overall organizational objectives. Manage the FMLA application process, conduct employee investigations, and support in resolving payroll and benefit discrepancies. Complete and ensure all government filing requirements are complete timely and accurately, including ERISA, VETS-100A, EEO-1 and OSHA reporting. Complete applicant flow tracking to ensure compliance with governmental regulations with federal contracts and to meet diversity standards (EEO-1). Conduct PowerPoint presentations on company benefits during open enrollment, resolve paycheck and PTO discrepancies. Handle all matters of employee benefits, such as enrollments, benefits, and PTO's. Collect and analyze internal and external information to compare the organizations HR practices to those prevailing in the market. Ensures compliance with applicable labor laws or regulations.
