Employment Type: Full-timeJob Summary:We are seeking an IT professional with 7-10 years of experience as a .NET API Developer to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for those interested in working with one of the largest insurers in the world.This is an ideal opportunity for candidates with strong background in developing RESTful APIs and experience working with Microsoft Azure Cosmos DB.In this role you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining APIs that provide efficient and secure access to our data stored in Cosmos DB.Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using .NET technologies.
  • Implement business logic and data access layers leveraging Microsoft Azure Cosmos DB.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Perform code reviews and maintain high standards of code quality.
  • Optimize performance of APIs and database queries for efficient data retrieval and processing.
  • Utilize best practices in API security protocols (OAuth, JWT, etc.) and data access.
  • Monitor API performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to .NET and Azure.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in .net Api Developer.
  • Proficiency in .NET Core.
  • Solid understanding of Web APIs.
  • Experience with Azure AKS.
  • Experience in Cosmos DB/ NoSQL.
  • Experience with Jenkins deployment pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Azure Functions, Azure API Management, and other Azure services is a plus.
  • Strong grasp of software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
