ROLE TITLE: Assistant Manager/ Manager - Technology ( Tyre Engineering/New Product Industrialization)REPORTS TO:Sr Manager NPI TechnologyLOCATION: NagpurDATE: 20-04-23JOB PURPOSE:To develop Green specification and profiles for 2/3 W Bias New product industrialization and OEM samples development & handling, APQP documentationDIMENSIONS:Position holderInternal customersExternal customersExternal partnersKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

NEW PRODUCT INDUSTRIALIZATION :

Sound knowledge of Bias Tyre engineering (2/3W)
Study and evaluate design inputs, Carry out calculations and Develop green specifications and profiles for New product industrialization
Hands on experience with Making green specifications, various types of building machines, process defects solving through construction optimization
Ensuring OEM sampes are prepared first time right for various variants with change in profile, construction
Create, Adhere and track monthly development plan, share daily Monthly updates
Product validations, analysis,Cut Tyre analysis, Release trackings and adherence to individual project timelines.
Use PLM, SAP, MES systems for NPI, and create digital tolls to improve FTR, and Lead time
Improve NPI process through QIPs
Product validations, analysis,Cut Tyre Rating, Release trackings and adherence of time lines.
New process system development and establishing SOP, incorporation of its requirements in SAP.
Work with CFT to ensure Product QCD (Quality,Cost,Delivery) compliance post sign-off.
Knowledge on APQP/PPAP/SPC/MSA/DFMEA / PFMEA / Control Plan
PROCESS & PRODUCT:

PDCA Approach
Utilizing QIPs /QCs for structured problem solving
Bias Tyre manufacturing process Mixing, Extrusion, Stock Prep, Building, Curing, Calendering, ROB - multi disciplnary basic exposure
OE, TECHNICAL & QUALITY TASKS:

APQP pas a tool and handsON experience with deployment
IATF16949, and experience with OEM developments would be added advantage
Coustomers specific requirement understanding and execution towards requirements.
Experience with OEM/ System audits
Knowledge on Statistical tools for Data analysis, process improvement through them
