Then join us in our mission to pioneer smarter solutions for moving and transforming water, reducing energy consumption, and enhancing quality of life for people.As our new Associate Sales Engineer, CBS - North, West & East India, you will be driving sales of Commercial Building Services (CBS) solutions across North, West & East India, building strong customer relationships and providing technical guidance to support sustainable water technology adoption. You'll be part of a diverse, supportive and inclusive culture, that celebrates our differences and puts people first by fostering growth, well-being, and a sense of belonging.What you will be doingAs a key part of the Commercial Building Services (CBS) India team, you'll create impact by Partnering with consultants, contractors, and end-users to deliver energy-efficient pumping solutions that contribute to sustainable water management across one of the world's fastest-growing markets..Your main responsibilities include:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for CBS products across the assigned territory in North, West & East India
  • Provide technical product selection support and prepare competitive proposals for HVAC, water supply, and pressure boosting applications
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with MEP consultants, contractors, OEMs, and key end-users
  • Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions for customers and channel partners
  • Collaborate with internal teams including application engineering, marketing, and customer service to ensure seamless project execution
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities and inform sales strategy
What makes you a great fitAbove all, you are a technically minded sales professional with a strong foundation in mechanical or electrical engineering, eager to grow in a commercial role within the building services or pumping industry. We would also imagine that you have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline
  • 1-3 years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, or business development in HVAC, plumbing, or pumping systems
  • Strong understanding of commercial building services applications such as water supply, pressure boosting, and HVAC systems
  • Willingness to travel extensively across North, West & East India
It is a plus if you also:
  • Experience working with MEP consultants and contractors in the Indian building services market
  • Familiarity with Grundfos or similar pump product portfolios and selection tools
  • Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce
