We are Hiring for CEDAR Retail !! Job Profile : Distribution Head (Food & FMCG) Responsibilities: Develop and execute a comprehensive distribution strategy to establish and expand Cedar Retail's presence across categories within the Food & FMCG SBU. Identify and recruit agents, distributors, and sales staff to build an effective distribution network, ensuring coverage across key markets and segments. Establish strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and other channel partners to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to customers. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and operations teams, to align distribution efforts with business objectives and sales targets. Lead the development and implementation of sales and distribution plans for each category, including agri commodities, food brands, and other products, leveraging market insights and customer feedback. Monitor distribution performance, including sales volumes, market share, and customer satisfaction, and implement corrective actions as needed to drive results. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for expansion and differentiation within the Kerala market. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to distribution, transportation, and storage of FMCG products. Manage budget and expenses for distribution activities, optimizing resource allocation and maximizing return on investment. Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the distribution team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred. Minimum of 8 years of experience in distribution management, preferably in the FMCG industry, with a track record of success in setting up and managing distribution networks. Deep understanding of the Kerala market, including consumer behavior, distribution channels, and competitive landscape. Strong leadership and strategic planning skills, with the ability to develop and execute effective distribution strategies to drive business growth. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, interpret market trends, and make data-driven decisions. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, while maintaining attention to detail and quality. Entrepreneurial spirit and creative thinking, with a passion for driving innovation and growth in a dynamic business environment.
