The Mortgages department is a part of the Retail Lending business of the bank and offers Home Loans and Loan against Property to all categories of customers Pan India.

This is a leadership role responsible for achieving business goals, optimizing profitability, overseeing compliance, and driving transformation within HL and LAP business. It involves strategic planning and execution to maximize revenue, enhance portfolio growth, and ensure risk compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
Business Goals and Profitability
- Deliver disbursement targets in the assigned area through the Branch Banking channel.
- Monitor daily performance metrics and take proactive measures to meet area-level targets.
- Coordinate with branch managers and staff for regular mortgage product training and support.
- Generate and convert leads from branches, ensuring alignment with zonal strategies.
- Ensure documentation, eligibility checks, and process adherence at the branch level.
- Support audit and compliance processes as per internal and regulatory norms.
- Support branches in delivering seamless customer experience throughout the loan journey.
- Address and resolve escalations from customers or internal teams.
- Drive usage of digital tools like Siddhi, MLP, Omega, and SFDC by branch staff.
- Graduation/post-graduation from a recognized institute
- 6+ sales experience (secured products preferred) with at least 2-3 years in HL and LAP
- Strong sales orientation
- Proficiency in managing complex client relationships, diverse stakeholders
- Capability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
- Skill in managing large, geographically spread team; coaching and mentoring team members
- Competence in managing within a dynamic, priority-setting environment
- Strong risk and compliance mindset
- Adept at communication and interpersonal skills
