Test Engineer

• Analyze requirements and create detailed test plans and test cases.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, and exploratory tests.
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Azure , Jira etc
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage for user interfaces, APIs, and databases.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and expectations.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks.
• Create and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
• Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Optimize automation scripts for performance and reliability.
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.

• Analyze test results and perform root cause analysis for defects.
• Ensure adherence to testing standards and best practices.
• Communicate test progress, risks, and results to stakeholders.
• Stay updated with the latest testing tools, trends, and techniques.

• Expertise with Web and Mobile automation. Should be very good at Mobile automation using Appium.
• Should be very good at creating efficient locators for Automation for both Web and Native.
• Good working experience of Api testing and automation.
• Very strong language skills in either Java or Python. Should be capable of handling and solving problems involving data structures with efficient algorithms.
• Good Manual testing knowledge with Intermediate to expert level
• Should be self starter and capable of handling tasks independently.
• Proactive and collective in driving the team objectives and communicating with the stake holders.
• Good to have Framework design and implementation expertise.
• Experience with any Test management tool (Jira or Azure devops).
• Experience with CICD tool (Jenkins or Azure pipelines).
• Good to have knowledge of working with any DB (SQL or No-Sql).
• Good working experience in agile driven projects. Should be capable of providing viable and rightful estimates for individual and team's tasks if required.
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Exposure to Performance testing.
• Knowledge on the BrowerStack is plus (added advantage)
• Good communication skills and able to interact with global team
