? Build and lead a team of engineers to create robust, scalable and high quality solutions
? Collaborate with product and technology teams to solve complex problems
? Define best technology practices & ensure compliance
? Communicate design and test impact based on business requirements
? Understand business requirements, formulate use cases and come up with effective solutions
? Research and evaluate technologies and solutions to determine solution design options and trade offs
? Able to lead the development cycle and ensure delivery of highly secure solutions that are optimised for performance and built to scale
? Able to engineer complex features / systems from scratch and drive it to completion
? Apply best-practices and coding patterns that ensure solutions are maintainable, modular, and of high code-quality
? Be responsible to hire, develop and retain a high performing team of engineers.Required Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in product based organization and 4+ years of experience leading teams
- Deep understanding in building complex, distributed systems using microservices, event-driven architectures
- Expertise in developing enterprise applications on Java tech stack
- Exposure of working with NoSQL databases and search engines like elasticsearch, solr
- Well versed with emerging design and architectural trends
- Implementing robust, scalable, and performant solutions with a focus on clean code, design patterns, and testability.
- Expertise in effective planning and prioritization of projects to create an environment where
- randomization is either absent or extremely minimized
- Able to break complex projects into modules and propose effective solutions in view of
- capabilities of existing platforms and infrastructure
- Strong ability to troubleshoot issues, identify bottlenecks
